Welcome to the official webpage of the FALLEN HEROES MEMORIAL FOUNDATION ™, Michigan Chapter, Lest They Be Forgotten Memorial Project. Our mission is to create, establish, and help maintain hometown memorials in honor of the brave men and women from Michigan, who have lost their lives defending the United States of America in the war against terrorism.
The Fallen Heroes Memorial Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, has been honoring Michigan's Fallen Heroes since 2006.The FHMF is the only organization dedicated exclusively to building memorials honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the war on terror. To date we have dedicated 22 memorials throughout the state honoring 32 of our Fallen Heroes. We work with Gold Star Families to ensure their loved one's service and sacrifice are never forgotten. For some families the memorial offers closure when their loved one is buried far away. The Fallen Heroes Memorial Foundation's officers, board of directors and staff members are volunteers who donate their time and talent without monetary compensation.
